Fay’s reading response questions.

  1. Kenneth Goldsmith argues that you should have unrestricted access to noncommercial, educational materials. This idea was presented in 2005. It’s 10 years later and students are still required to purchase textbooks and other educational materials. Several barriers exist and for good reason. How valid are these barriers to you?
  2. The title “If it doesn’t exist on the internet, it doesn’t exist” is meant to be provocative. For me, making discoveries in real life and not on the internet is both rewarding and valuable. How much of a validation is internet presence for others?
