There are positive and negative ways to look at the “A-culture”. Being anonymous on the Internet gives people a space to express their thoughts freely, without worrying about other people knowing who posted it, especially for those who are not good at expressing it in the real world. I believe that how it worked in the very beginning of the A-culture. However, people have taken “being anonymous” way too far from just posting general statements. There were lots of people being, Internet bullied, threatened, etc. from “anonymous” internet users. They might do it just for fun, who knows. But I don’t think we can blame the Internet though. It’s purely the users of the internet who formed up this A-cultนre.

Also, I think there’s a fine line between A-culture and privacyy. If I wish to keep my identity a secret and not existing in the internet world and use “Anonymous” as a way to do that, I think A-culture is beneficial in this case as long as I don’t do anything harmful?
