I don’t really know how I feel about this. Yes, there are a bunch of startups that are clones and ripoffs of other existing startups, but I also think there are some part of the coding community out there that is pioneering coding. There are some pretty amazing experimental coding being done, especially with sketch programs like Processing. Maybe there is some sort of boundary that will divide the field into “progressive” and a more “commercial” side to it all. For me personally, I would rather explore this more experimental realm for me, and paid little than copying another startup and being paid hundreds of thousands.
